Nino Chikovani

Nino Chikovani, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, director of the Institute of Cultural Studies, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Main research interests: perception and representation of history;  collective memory and identity construction; problems of intercultural communication. Has participated/headed research and teaching projects run by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, UNESCO, TEMPUS, DAAD, COBERM, Volkswagen Foundation, AUF, Heinrich Boell Foundation South Caucasus office, International Visegrad Foundation, etc. Published more than 60 scientific articles/book chapters in the local and international editions, 3 monographs. Head of the editorial board of the international scientific annual journal “Civilization Researches” published by TSU (indexed in EBSCO), member of the scientific council of the international peer reviewed journal “Culture and Dialogue” (publisher: Brill). Advanced trainer in Intercultural Communication.
